Jerome is our very own geek with a side of salsa (and bachata).
He can be seen jumping between a dance and a computer screen with little sleep in between and absurd amount of coffee.

Our Story
How It All Started
Peseta is the product of one of the finest combinations in existence – ideas and friendship.
It all started shortly after I (Nina) moved to England to start a new life.
As an ever active person with tons of business ventures I soon realised that one of the most challenging tasks at hand was collecting receipts and doing my taxes. It wasn’t that difficult for the limited company – you’re practically forced to pay for an accounting software, so inevitably this is how you handle things.
But even so, keeping a record of everything required that I spent hours upon hours every month. And it got worse around tax submission deadline.
I can honestly say that I hated every moment of it with a passion and couldn’t help but wonder why there isn’t an easy way to collect receipts…
The Birth of a Dream
The more I struggled to keep my receipts organised, the more I realised that I wasn’t the problem.
The problem was that the system is too complicated by design.
It’s almost feels as if you are being prepared to fail from the start. Language is complex, there are two many “what ifs” and it’s more open to interpretation than religious texts.
So I began dreaming of fixing it.
I started imagining an app which is extremely easy to use and it allows you to snap a quick photo of your receipt, add a couple of details and be done with it.
The Key Task: Empower employed people to quickly and easily claim back their taxes.
And Then I Met This “Fairy”
Jerome and I met by absolute accident at the latin dance group that occupied my Thursday evenings. For the first few months of knowing him I had no idea what he does, mostly because I struggled to understand his strong French accent.
As time went on, however, we grew closer and one day I shared my frustration and dream with him.
And guess what! He said: “I think I might be able to do it“.
Yes, sir, please!!! I was ecstatic. Fast forward about a year and a half later, and I am delighted to announce that the Peseta App is officially about to launch!
We made it!
And it’s only going to get better!
